A deam come true?

My grandmother had a strange dream last night.

Couldn't sleep

I'm supposed to be in bed, and I was actually in bed, but I got up again.

It's not often I can't sleep, and I guess I hadn't been laying for more than five minutes when I got up again...

I have a lot of thoughts in my head. God, Thailand, Kabul, plans and dreams... I very often find my self thinking of the future and what is to become of me. Only God knows what destiny I will choose.

In twentythree hours I'll be back in camp.

Bought a guitar

Today I bought my first guitar ever. It's a Morgan western guitar.

I plan to learn to play from some friends in the platoon. It's probably a good thing to bring the guitar when I go to Kabul. Music helps beat up some time and it can help you when you're down.

Met a good friend from upper secondary school at the cafe "Onkel" (Uncle) today. He showed me some music by John Mayer (Room for squares) and I liked it. I'm going to order the cd on the internet as soon as I get my monthly creds from the army.

6 months left

6 months until I arrive at Kabul Airport.

The last time of my militaryduty in Norway will be a preparation for the last part of 2005 when I will be working in Kabul, as a soldier.

Right now I'm on a weekend leave. The last leave before Battle Griffin, a large military exersice. A few NATO-countries will attend to Battle Griffin wich takes part in mid-norway.
It's kind of an exam for my platoon, because we will be offering communicationsystems to very many people.

Some time after Battle Griffin I will attend to training especially pinpointed for the soldiers going intops (international operations).

The next year of my life will be something to remember.
